2024 Balance Sheet, Thanks, and Information on the New 2025 Website
After a busy first year renting out my vacation cottages (three furnished apartments for 4 and 5 people, one of which is equipped for individuals with reduced mobility), I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all those who made these wonderful encounters, exchanges, and enriching moments of sharing possible throughout 2024. I am ready to enthusiastically welcome all the new adventures that lie ahead in 2025.
The Champ-Nany website will soon be under construction to provide you with a better browsing experience. In the meantime, you can still reach me by phone at +33 (0)6 49 41 11 96 or by email at contact@champ-nany.com.
In 2025, I plan to complete the outdoor facilities to accommodate two horses, probably by September. Of course, I will continue, year after year, to enhance your well-being during your stay at Champ-Nany, in Ménetreuil (Bresse Bourguignonne, Saône-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté). You can enjoy a peaceful escape in nature, with a wooded park, relaxation areas, and plenty of culinary, rejuvenating, sporting, and unique discoveries nearby or further afield.
Champ-Nany is also an ideal place for special events or for remote workers looking for a quiet and restful environment with a swimming pool. By reservation, relaxing massages, such as Shiatsu, can be enjoyed in the charming Da Roméo caravan, accessible year-round. The property also offers a library open to all, indoor and outdoor games, and a bicycle loan service.
During the summer, Ménetreuil offers an interesting guided tour of the mill and its still-operational machinery. You can also take time to explore the local flora and fauna in every season by walking one of the Prés de Ménetreuil trails—one of which is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The brick-built church, whose steeple dates back to before 1880 (when the 14th-century choir was restored), is an imposing landmark that dominates the Sâne Valley.
Ménetreuil is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and renowned wine regions, such as Bresse, Burgundy, Jura, Beaujolais, and Charolais. These areas are known for their vast open spaces, lush greenery, architectural heritage, and historical sites, including castles, medieval towns, and picturesque villages. Visitors can enjoy a welcoming atmosphere where authenticity, hospitality, and gastronomy are celebrated. The cultural scene is rich, offering activities for all ages, along with numerous markets, flea markets, and garage sales throughout the year.
You can also explore the region by bike or on foot, following the Louhans-Saint-Marcel (Chalon-sur-Saône) Greenway, with an access point in Branges, just 8 km from the gîtes.
I look forward to meeting you or welcoming you back, and I remain at your disposal for any further information. The gîtes are open year-round, and you can stay for one night, several days, or even weeks, depending on the season and availability.
